2026 Route Update:

Due to the Aspen Acres Fire and ongoing closures in southern Colorado, portions of this year's planned route have been modified. While we'll miss riding through the Bishop Castle area, we're grateful for the firefighters protecting these communities and look forward to returning when it's safe to do so.

Wind Therapy

Riding Together. Supporting Riders. Building Community.

Wind Therapy is a community focused motorcycle riding program built around connection, conversation, and the mental reset that can come from time on two wheels. These small-group rides are designed to bring riders together in a relaxed and supportive environment while exploring the roads, scenery, and riding culture throughout Colorado and the surrounding region.

Rather than focusing on speed or performance riding, Wind Therapy emphasizes steady riding, shared experiences, and creating opportunities for riders to connect both on and off the motorcycle. Campfires, coffee stops, scenic routes, and conversations along the way are all part of the experience.

Each Wind Therapy ride is limited to six riders total. One sponsored rider will have the opportunity to participate aboard a Moto Recovery Triumph Scrambler 400 with riding gear and camping equipment provided as available. Riders interested in the sponsored position may complete the application located at the bottom of this page.

The remaining riders participate on their own motorcycles. Moto Recovery provides fuel and camping accommodations for participating riders. Meals, park entry fees, and personal travel expenses remain the responsibility of each rider.

Riders interested in participating on their own motorcycle simply need to email Moto Recovery with:

  • Your name
  • Riding experience
  • The ride dates you are interested in
  • A brief introduction about yourself

From there, Moto Recovery will continue the conversation and help determine availability and ride fit. Membership is not required to participate in Wind Therapy. All are welcome.

Looking Ahead

The 2026 season represents the beginning of Wind Therapy as Moto Recovery continues building and refining the program through small group rides and community support. Our long term vision is to expand Wind Therapy into a larger rider support program built around a dedicated fleet of Kawasaki KLX 300s and Triumph Scrambler 400 motorcycles equipped for multi day adventures and community focused riding experiences.

As the program continues growing, Moto Recovery hopes to create additional opportunities for riders navigating difficult periods in life, including stress, isolation, major life transitions, personal hardships, and other challenges where time on two wheels and a supportive riding community can make a meaningful difference.

Through partnerships, donations, volunteers, and community support, Moto Recovery plans to continue expanding Wind Therapy into a broader motorcycle based community outreach program throughout 2027 and beyond.
