About Moto Recovery
Moto Recovery is a rider supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit built around the motorcycle community of the Pikes Peak region. What began as a grassroots effort to help stranded riders has continued growing into a broader network focused on motorcycle transport assistance, rider connection, community programs, and shared support both on and off the road.
Through motorcycle transport assistance, the DIY Garage, Wind Therapy rides, and Wrench Therapy sessions, Moto Recovery exists to strengthen the local motorcycle community while creating opportunities for riders to connect, learn, and support one another.
Moto Recovery is not a commercial towing company or emergency roadside service. We are a community-supported nonprofit built around the idea that riders should not have to face difficult situations alone. Memberships, donations, volunteers, and community support help keep transport assistance available while continuing to grow rider focused programs throughout the region.

A Personal Update from Eric
Many of you know that I have spent the past two and a half years working through a lengthy FAA medical review process. In June 2026, I received the final medical clearance needed to return to flying as a Boeing 747 cargo pilot. While this is a major milestone in my professional life, it does not change the mission of Moto Recovery.
Moto Recovery was never built around one person. It was built around a simple idea: riders helping riders. Our volunteer team, members, sponsors, and supporters have helped create something much larger than any one individual. While my return to flying may occasionally affect my availability for motorcycle transport assistance, our DIY Garage, Wind Therapy rides, Wrench Therapy sessions, and member community will continue moving forward.
As Moto Recovery grows, we are actively working to expand our volunteer network and leadership team to ensure the organization remains strong, sustainable, and ready to serve riders for years to come. Thank you for believing in this mission and helping us prove that the motorcycle community is strongest when we ride together.
