What we do

Moto Recovery is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to using motorcycles to build community, develop practical skills, and improve lives.

Our mission is centered around three programs:

Project Bikes
We accept donated motorcycles, scooters, and powersports equipment, then repair and restore them with the help of volunteers. Some become part of our nonprofit fleet, some are sold to fund our programs, and others are donated to individuals or organizations in need.

Wind Therapy
Throughout the riding season, we organize small group rides that give people an opportunity to disconnect from daily stress, enjoy Colorado's incredible roads, and experience the positive impact motorcycles can have on mental well-being and community.

Wrench Wednesday
On the last Wednesday of each month, riders and volunteers come together to learn, work on donated motorcycles, share mechanical knowledge, and help prepare project bikes for their next chapter. Whether you're experienced or just curious, everyone is welcome.

As Moto Recovery continues to evolve, our motorcycle transport program is being phased out due to volunteer availability. Transport assistance remains available only to current members until their annual memberships expire.

Moto Recovery was founded on a simple belief:

What began as a grassroots effort helping stranded riders has grown into a nonprofit focused on restoring motorcycles, building community, and creating opportunities for people to learn, volunteer, and experience the benefits of riding together.

We're not a motorcycle club, dealership, or commercial towing company. We're a community of riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters who believe motorcycles can make a positive difference both on and off the road.

Every donated motorcycle, volunteer hour, sponsorship, and financial contribution helps fuel our mission. Whether we're bringing an old project bike back to life, hosting Wrench Wednesday, or leading a Wind Therapy ride through the Colorado mountains, everything we do is guided by one purpose:
