A Non-Profit Motorcycle Support Transport Network Based in Colorado Springs

Sometimes recovery looks like a deep conversation. Sometimes it is a quiet stretch of road at sunrise. And sometimes it is turning wrenches with people who understand the language of motorcycles and the rhythm of rebuilding both machines and ourselves.
Moto Recovery began as a towing and support truck helping riders when their day went sideways. But the name Recovery stuck with us in a different way. After delivering a motorcycle to a rider not long ago, we sat in a small mountain town coffee shop and kept noticing the words on the truck outside. Moto Recovery Motorcycle Towing. Moto Recovery. Recovery wind therapy. In that moment, the meaning shifted. These words had already grown into something larger in our minds. The idea had been planted earlier, but that was when it truly took root.
Over the years, we offered a small fleet of Triumphs for rental rides, helping riders ease into adventure without the pressure of big training centers. What started as a simple way to share riding slowly became the outline of something more meaningful.
Now, as a registered nonprofit 501(c)(3), Moto Recovery is building its next chapter.
Wrench Therapy in Partnership with Palmer Lake
Beginning in 2026, Moto Recovery will launch community based wrench therapy workshops in partnership with a facility currently in development in Palmer Lake, Colorado. These workshops will focus on basic motorcycle maintenance, hands-on learning, confidence building, and supportive conversations that naturally happen when tools are in hand and the pressure is off. It is not clinical. It is not a see you next week cycle. It is real connection through shared work and shared experience.
Wind Therapy Through Purposeful Riding
Wind therapy provides clarity, grounding, and a chance to breathe again. Moto Recovery will offer a structured ride calendar with monthly week long rides throughout Colorado during prime riding season and monthly three day weekend rides as well. During the winter and early spring months, the program shifts to monthly week long moto camping trips in Baja California, Mexico.
The Scrambler Fleet and Accessibility
To support these programs, Moto Recovery is building an all Triumph Scrambler fleet consisting of 400s, 900s, and 1200s, including lowered options for accessibility. Riding gear, training, and resources will be available to help riders of all experience levels feel supported.
A Network for Real Connection
The heart of Moto Recovery is community. A place where men and women can ride, wrench, talk, and grow in ways that traditional therapy cannot always reach. The idea first sparked at the 2025 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride in Colorado Springs, when mental health professionals approached us with the concept of wrench therapy. That seed continued to grow through conversations with riders in Palmer Lake who shared a similar vision for a supportive motorcycle centered space.
Moto Recovery is creating a network where motorcycles are not just machines, but tools for clarity, confidence, and connection.
Moto Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit redefining what recovery means. Through wind therapy, wrench therapy, and a community of supportive riders, we are building a space where motorcycles become instruments for healing and growth.
Our wrench therapy workshops will launch in partnership with a developing facility in Palmer Lake, Colorado. Our wind therapy program includes monthly week long and three day rides across Colorado during peak season, followed by monthly week long moto camping trips in Baja California, Mexico during winter and early spring.
Moto Recovery exists to create a space where people can ride, learn, talk, and grow together.
